First Blog Post

Hi!

So, because I am the world's biggest procrastination fan, I have finally made a website. Yay! Making it was actually really fun, I have no idea why it took me so long.

Anyway, I guess this is a good place to get this blog thing started. I don't think I'm going to post here that much, just being honest, because I've tried blogging before and I always give up pretty quickly. But maybe this time will be different!

At the moment, I am currently supposed to be working on the copy edits for my book, LOVE INTEREST. I say supposed to be, because right now I'm doing this. See, I said I'm a fan of procrastination! But yeah, copy edits are pretty exciting. It was the first time I saw my book set out like a proper book, with an ISBN and a title page and all that. It was a pretty massive moment for me.

My main thoughts at the moment are about my cover, which I haven't seen yet, and I can't stop thinking about it. I have no idea what direction they are going to go with it, and that's really exciting for me. Apparently the powers that be are currently working on the LI cover, and I should see something in 2-3 weeks. Ahhh! I really hope it's cool -- that's all I really want, because I have no idea what it's going to look like. For the LONGEST time I was totally sure it was going to be blue, but now that it's so close to being real my mind keeps changing. Will it be black and white? Red and white? Blue and silver? I honestly have no idea, and waiting for it is really, really fun.

Hopefully by the next time I blog, I'll have a cover! Fingers crossed.
